Stunning antique Victorian diamond ring features a large 0.22ct antique old mine cut solitaire diamond. The diamond is set into an elaborate claw setting sometimes refereed to as a 'Belcher' setting. The setting of the ring allows light to flow in and around the diamond. The metal of the ring is 9ct yellow gold, it has a warmer tone than today's modern 9ct yellow gold, but not quite rose gold. The style, diamond and metal indicate this piece is from the Victorian era
